Why Wasn’t I Paid the Correct Amount?

If a settlement looks wrong, here are the most common explanations:

Net market settlement

Multiple orders on the same market are combined into a single net result. Commission is charged only on net winnings — not on each individual order. Your account shows the combined position, not each order separately.

Partial fills

If part of your order wasn’t matched, only the matched portion settles. See “How Order Matching Works” for matched-of-total.

Dead heat rules

When more winners share a place than expected (e.g. a tie in golf), winnings and losses are split among all tied entrants according to dead heat rules.

Amended results

If an official result is amended after settlement, TSMx may resettle the market provided the amendment occurs within 24 hours and before any presentation ceremony.
